

Criteria and Methodology
Must be an individual who is either confirmed positive or presumed positive through contact with a Positive person.
Onset date of symptoms dictate which month the individual is placed.
Onset date of Symptoms may be estimated, if not available, by using the WHO epidemologic study (Jun 30, 2006). (Determination of onset date below). Using the hospital admit date: 4 days prior to hospital admission will be used for "onset of symptoms" date. Using Date of Death: 9 days prior to date of death will be used for "onset of symptom" date. When an individual has been designated "Presumed or Probable" by reliable sources, but no dates are given, the earliest date mentioned within the source will be used.
Individuals were located using the WHO updates, Studies, Pro-Med, and Individual Country Health Departments.
Individuals may be included that do not show up on the WHO Cumulative Count. |
