I've seen this other places and it struck me that somebody should start a "Quotes" 'diary' here at FW.
So here it is! Please place your selected literary gems here for others to appreciate.
One change, hopefully an improvement; Please cite the Author, Date posted, and the Source. It doesn't have to be just from Fluwiki; good quotes from everywhere are welcomed.

as I understand fluwikie originally was mainly
a wiki which was created and edited and the forum
was just a platform to discuss details of this process. However over the time the forum grew
much faster than the wiki and now the wiki
is pretty much outdated and the forum runs
with new software and is mainly contrated upon.
I found some very good birdflu pages at wikipedia
now, which made me wonder whether wikipedia isn't the better fluwiki meanwhile ?
Can we integrate/crosslink the fluwiki
into wikipedia or/and copy the wikipedia
bird flu related stuff over here to fluwiki ?

The moving process of the wiki was time consuming, and Melanie was busy with other things. Some period before the transfer I created some sketches for a fluwiki logo. The meassage I got was to wait. Now I think is the time to have a discusion on the sketch.
recently I have noticed some need for graphics in the work of bloggs, campagins etc.
All institutions have, and need this kind of material..

Any one want to write a letter of support?
Not sure what happens to the nominations, but talk about exposure if it was even considered. It says that an organization or individual can be nominated. Since we always talk about the collective hive here....I guess it depends on how loosely 'organization' can be translated as.

The resulting knowledge is “owned” by all, without pride of authorship concerns or limitations, that can be understood and acted upon by readers with little or no prior knowledge before coming to FluWikie.
