Look at recent changes on the wiki site we're all so proud of, and you'll notice quite a lot of day-to-day activity is about reverting spam: look at recent changes, and in each page where there's spam look at the history of that page, and roll back the page to what it was before spam. Not difficult once you've done it a few times.
You'll also notice who does that work. :-)
Pogge hates spam:
I will always unspam
I detest spam. My hatred for it burns with the intensity of a thousand suns.
Did I mention I'm not fond of spam?
It guess it's the same with DemFromCT and Bronco Bill, and others who may help ocassionally.
So, How could some of us help?
(I guess it would be a nice, low-key, way to enter the wikiworld, get some practice, then maybe help others add some good content, or even sketchy content that can be refined and fleshed out later.)

revere(s) is one of the cofounders of fluwikie, they have their own blog
effectmeasure.com and occasionally posted on the old fluwikie forum.
But I haven't seen them on the new forum and they are no longer listed
on the right bar under "contacts" together with the other fluwiki officials,
although there is still a link to effectmeasure.
They have no link to this forum at effectmeasure, only to the old wiki,
one in a list of about 50 other links.
So I wonder, whether and how much there is still some connection.
I also noticed, that while last year effectmeasure was to more than
50% about birdflu, this has shifted considerably now and birdflu
is only about 20% recently.
Does that mean, birdflu is considered less important now ?
So, I start this diary to provoke a comment by the reveres...

as I understand fluwikie originally was mainly
a wiki which was created and edited and the forum
was just a platform to discuss details of this process. However over the time the forum grew
much faster than the wiki and now the wiki
is pretty much outdated and the forum runs
with new software and is mainly contrated upon.
I found some very good birdflu pages at wikipedia
now, which made me wonder whether wikipedia isn't the better fluwiki meanwhile ?
Can we integrate/crosslink the fluwiki
into wikipedia or/and copy the wikipedia
bird flu related stuff over here to fluwiki ?
