So a pandemic brakes loose and everybody is to be infected, or not, at some point...
I understand closing schools and whole cities down as a precautionary measure to prevent the flu from spreading. But after a certain point, which WHO officials say we have already passed, widespread infection (according to the Ro rate) is inevitable.
So, after that point, would there still be a need to close down schools and public gathering places at all? Wouldn't such measures just extend an inevitable outcome? That this flu has to make it's worldwide circle of life...?
How will second, third, and on, wave countries are to face the challenge?
Certainly, I am not talking about precautionary measures, being prepared to hospitalize people, provide all needed resources and all...
In the contrary, I think that best option would be to actually do nothing, crowd containment wise, and let the virus do the flu thing... mitigation...
The society would not cease to function.
